Install An Audi Style Switchback Led Strip on a Ford Fusion
This set of Audi-style LED strip lights look great on this 2013 Ford Fusion and make the car look extremely classy. The LED switchback strip is similar to the look that you see on newer Audi A4, A5, A6 models and has a special tubing design that lights up with a uniform output so you see the entire assembly as one whole piece, not as individual emitters. The even illumination provides quite a luxurious look that you can install on any car to get that iconic Audi look. The xenon white and amber LED lights are a great combination to elevate the style of your vehicle. The entire installation is definitely well worth the end result that you can showcase on the road.
- flat head screwdriver
- heat gun
- latex gloves
Use a heat gun to bake open the headlight. We recommend professional installation so please proceed at your own risk. You will need a flat head screwdriver, latex gloves, as well as a heat gun to proceed.
Make sure your headlamps are clean. Preheat your own to 350 degrees Fahrenheit and place a few moist paper towels on the headlight lens. You should also place a moist sheet of cardboard underneath the headlight. This is to prevent any damage to the back of the headlight housing. Set your timer to approximately 6-8 minutes.
Remember to use gloves when you pull the headlight out of the oven. The headlight is extremely hot and the silicone sealant around the headlight will be soft. You will need a heat gun and a flat head screwdriver for this.
Use the gun to keep the silicone warm because it will get dry and harden fast. Start from the corner of the headlight with the screwdriver and carefully pry open the lens from the headlight. There may be tabs located around the headlight that have to be lifted. Watch where the sealant gets onto, as it's very sticky and will transfer onto anything it comes into contact with. You can use latex gloves for this.
Remove the headlights gently and gradually. Pay attention to how the lens is attached to the housing because different cars have a varying combination of how the screws are secured on the housing.
Mount the switchback LED strip inside the housing. You can either use the silicone glue or the mounting brackets included with this product to mount the LED strip inside the headlamp. Test to make sure everything works.
Put the headlights back and tap the wires. The red wire is positive for the xenon white LED used as daytime running lights. The yellow wire is positive for the amber yellow LED used as turn signal lights. The black wire is for negative.
You can see that these LED strip lights look fantastic on this Ford Fusion and puts the car on to a whole other level.

Say Something.Where is the part to buy?
Installing an Audi style switchback LED strip on a Ford Fusion can give it a similar appearance to Audis. You'll need to make sure you have the appropriate LED strip, wiring, and installation materials for this process, which can be complex and require knowledge of automotive electrical systems. We suggest seeking the help of a professional if you're not confident in your abilities. Moreover, ensure that the LED strip you buy is made for a Ford Fusion and compliant with all local regulations - improper installation could be hazardous and void the vehicle's warranty. https://cashcashcars.com/areas-served/junk-car-removals-los-angeles-ca/
