Remove Seats on a 2002 Honda Rebel 250

When working on your Rebel, it can be handy to remove the seats so that you can remove the fuel tank and have better access to the engine. This article covers the seat removal only. Check out my other article if you want to remove the fuel tank.

Step by Step Instructions

Remove the Rear Seat

Remove the two 8mm bolts from either side of the rear seat.

Lift up on the rear seat while pulling toward the back of the bike. The seat should come free easily.

Remove the Front Seat

Remove the two 12mm bolts from either side of the back of the front seat.

Lift up on the seat while pulling toward the back of the bike. The seat should come free easily.
