Learn how to install the new Bosch Icon wiper blades on any 2009-2013 Subaru Forester (Third Generation). Most cars seem to use this same hook type of mount, but it's worth noting there are 3 different wiper mount types:

• *Hook (used on the Forester) * - a curved, u shaped hook
• Side Pin - a small pin on the wiper arm snaps into a hole on the wiper blade attachment
• Bayonet - a flat, square piece of metal slides into the wiper blade attachment

I personally like these beam style of blades like the Bosch Icon because they have to be pretty reliable, simple, and light-weight. As it turns out they're fantastic for ice and snow because ice can cram up in the mechanisms used on the traditional style blades.

It seems that just about every manufacturer seems to be switching to these too, I see them on Fiesta ST's and Lamborghinis.
