Replace The Rear Turn Signal Bulbs on a Scion FR-S

This article is visible to only you.

At some point, you're going to have to replace all of the bulbs in your car. Fortunately, the turn signal bulbs are relatively easy to replace on the Scion FR-S.

Estimated time: 5 minutes

1

Put the car in accessory mode by turning the key as much as you can without starting the car.

2

Turn on the hazard lights by pressing the red triangle button next to the clock.

3

Check the back of the car. If one of the turn signals isn't blinking, you need to replace that bulb.

4

Using a Phillips head screwdriver or a prying tool, remove the pop fastener closest to the trunk lid.

5

Gently pry the carpet away to gain access to the tail light fixture.

Use the testing procedure in the Symptoms section above to test the bulb.

10

Tuck the carpet back under the weather stripping and replace the pop fastener.
