Lift the front of the vehicle using your jack and jack stands, or ramps.

Place your drain pan under the oil pan.

The oil drain is on the rear of the lumpy, triangular oil pan.

Remove the 14mm oil drain plug.

Install a new drain plug and crush washer. Torque to about 20 ft-lbs.

Remove the oil filter.

Make sure you place the oil drain pan under the filter.

Screw the new filter on, tightening it per the instructions on the box.

Mobil1 filter instructions say to seat the gasket and tighten one 3/4 turn.

Using your funnel, refill the oil. It takes approximately 4.25 quarts.

Check the oil level by removing the dip stick, drying it and re-inserting it.

Check the level by reading where the oil shows up on the end.

Visually check the filter and drain plug for leaks.

Lower the car back to the ground.

Start up the engine and watch the oil pressure light to make sure it doesn't stay on.

Re-check the oil level and check once more for leaks.

Press Menu button on the left side of the steering wheel till the Settings menu with Maintenance appears.

Using the Up/Down button that says "ENTER" on the end, select Maintenance

Press Enter

Select Oil and Filter, press Enter.

The display will show two numbers. The left side being the miles since reset, and the right side being the limit. Select Reset and hit enter.

Confirm the reset and you're finished.
