Drain the Oil
Place your drain pan under the oil pan.
The oil drain is on the rear of the lumpy, triangular oil pan.
Screw the new filter on, tightening it per the instructions on the box.
Mobil1 filter instructions say to seat the gasket and tighten one 3/4 turn.
Fill with New Oil
Check the oil level by removing the dip stick, drying it and re-inserting it.
Check the level by reading where the oil shows up on the end.
Finish Up
Resetting the Oil Service Light
There is a special procedure needed to reset the oil service light. Nissan has made the reset lights optional (and configurable), so you may or may not need to reset the reminder depending on if it was set in the first place.
Press Menu button on the left side of the steering wheel till the Settings menu with Maintenance appears.
The display will show two numbers. The left side being the miles since reset, and the right side being the limit. Select Reset and hit enter.

Say Something.Great way to share important information. I enjoyed every bit of it. Do you have a guide on a 2009 Infinity FX50?
Thanks @mostella, I haven't worked on a FX50 yet, but I'm always on the lookout for new articles to write.
I have a 2015 Nissan Sentra and pressing the menu button the steering wheel is not giving me a settings option. Is there somewhere else it could be located or is it just not an option for the 2015?
On wait I just saw the part about optional/configurable maybe it's not configured for this particular car.
