How To Install The Led Reverse Lights on a Mitsubishi Lancer

LED bulbs are very versatile and give you a very clean, clear, and super bright light output. This Mitsubishi Lancer has a new set of 7440 LED bulbs installed as reverse lights and you can see that the output is simple amazing. Not only is the result much brighter than the stock light in the side-by-side-comparison, but it is also much easier to look at, especially during the day. This guide will demonstrate the process of replacing the stock bulb into the LED to give you a much better look.

Use a pry tool to remove the clips that hold the trunk liner in place. You can use your finger to pull the trunk liner back to reveal the stock reverse light socket.

Pull out the stock reverse light bulb socket and remove the bulb.

Replace it with the new 7440 LED bulb and put the assembly back the same way you removed it.

Test to make sure everything works and enjoy your new LED reverse lights.

You will notice that the xenon white glow of the 7440 LED bulb is less offensive than the stock incandescent bulb, giving you a whole new look with hardly any hassle.
